May we introduce? Our new brand identity!


After 17 years of existence, it was time: we refreshed and modernized our brand identity. Just in time for planning further internationalization, we have redesigned our logo, font, design element, websites and imagery. We have also redefined our corporate values: May we introduce ourselves? BETTERHOMES: successful, independent, fair.

Logo and font

One thing was clear: BETTERHOMES should remain BETTERHOMES. Developing a new logo always involves risks: the brand should be recognizable, legibility must be guaranteed even in a small format and use on different backgrounds must be guaranteed. BETTERHOMES is magenta – and should stay magenta. We shifted the focus from “Homes” (bolded in the old logo) to “Better” – after all, we are exactly that: better. We also decided to use lowercase letters because it looks more modern and fresh. The cut corner at the top left is reminiscent of a house roof and gives the simple logo that certain something. The gray knot of our old logo had to go; instead, a concise and dominant icon with the “b” now adorns our brand identity.

Consistency is key: The new ticker on both the website and our other means of communication is congruent with the font in the logo and has some special aspects: The “t” is sharply cut and incorporates the house roof element in the logo; The font is also a mix of concise and soft in the curves of the letters and thus reflects BETTERHOMES optimally: We are successful – as sharp, determined and focused – and at the same time fair – customer-oriented, transparent and consistent.

There is a corner missing: our design element

We should be recognized, not just by the logo, but also by a design element. A design element is a special and company-specific element that recurs and makes the brand subtly recognizable – whether the brand is mentioned literally or not. We chose the outline of our icon – and if you pay attention in the future, you will see this shape everywhere in our communications.

Immerse yourself in the new world of images

Pictures say more than a thousand words: That's why our imagery has also been revised. Our new imagery for the various services and target groups immoplus is presented in a rigorous, color-coordinated and uniform manner® (brokerage service), immochallenge® (training program for career changers), immogrow® (professional program), interested parties and tipsters. Our imagery also reflects our values.

Crisp online presence

Our old website served us well for several years; Now it was time for a breath of fresh air: our website shines in a new light, more informative, modern and of course “responsive”. We have modernized and improved the structure of the site, the design and usability. The goal was to increase user-friendliness and offer all visitors to the website an optimal experience. In addition, our imagery, which now runs through our means of communication and our social media presence, is always recognizable: We are BETTERHOMES through and through!

Our real estate blog deserves special mention

Content is King: And as the market leader in Switzerland and one of the leading real estate agents in Germany and Austria, we also have something to tell! New articles are regularly published in our brand new real estate blog, from different perspectives: Relevant knowledge on the subject of buying/selling and renting/letting out, about the market, about life as an agent and of course: insights into BETTERHOMES. The blog is intended to help our readers make the right decisions when marketing and finding your apartment or house – and to give anyone interested exciting insights into the real estate industry.
