This apartment in Belgrade was sold on the same day it was advertised. Here's the secret!


In order for a classic small apartment in a new building to stand out from the huge competition, interior design with bold and courageous solutions proved to be a winning move.

The wealth of colors, effective pictures, as well as the rounded refrigerator in color, made this interior in Belgrade on the water stands out in the sea of ​​apartments for rent in the capital, which is the most important task for an architect when furnishing an apartment for future tenants.

With an “aggravating circumstance” in the form of a limited budget, the architect Sonja Brstina she obviously managed to respond to the client's request to create a real magnet for views because, as the portal writes, she is Interior design, the apartment was issued on the same day it was advertised.

Get the most out of the interior with a minimal budget

Two-room apartment from 47 m² it was new with partially equipped kitchen and bathrooms. As Sonja Brstina says, the apartment is small, so she wanted to play with colors and shapes because she didn't want it to look like everyone else.

She brought herself into the apartment a little a restless spirit which made it possible to stand out from others in a big competition.

“What is important for apartments for rent? To get the most out of the interior with a minimal budget.” – wrote Brstina on hers LinkedIn profile.

The wall behind the sofa is painted in an interesting square pattern and has a circular image printed on forex.

Sonja allocated a significant part of the budget for Smeg refrigerator in blue who, as he says, became the star of the kitchen, with pink shelf above which follows its width and shape.

There is also a circular one dining table of solid wood, to which dining chairs from Spanish reedswhile an effective circular Flowerpot chandelier is placed above it.

An unobtrusive yet striking desk

At the request of the owner of the apartment, Brstina designed and executed it an interesting shelf for the TV, which also includes a desk – an unobtrusive, yet striking piece of furniture.

The dressing room in front of the bedroom and bathroom as well as the laundry room, which can be seen when sitting on the sofa, Sonja pointed out black and white triangular texture.

The large semi-circular MDF headboard is the first thing you notice when you enter the bedroom.

In the bedroom, the interior designer used purple and yellow color on a large semicircular headboard of MDF which is first noticed upon entering this room.

The room is completed once more an interesting picture which is printed on canvas, and a low chest of drawers is placed below it.

A very clever solution was applied in the bathroom in a 13 cm long section from the wall to the sink, where it was placed closed shelf which opens from the side of the sink and holds a complete set of cosmetics.
